The RTCU product line currently includes 8 different hardware variants covering a broad range of I/O configurations, environments and applications. The RTCU A5i, D4, A9i and M11i Series units are offered in two functionality variants: MICRO and MAX. The MICRO version can be programmed only with the functionality in the Infocall Micro program, or the customers own MICRO application.

RTCU M11Gi MAX

The RTCU M11Gi MAX is a "facelifted" version of the RTCU M11G unit with important enhancements as requested by our customers.
The enhancements includes upto 8 Mbyte of additional Flash memory for data intensive applications and the use of a 12-channel GPS receiver. Also the recovery of GSM related problems such as modem lock-up and/or base-station problems will be recovered much faster on the RTCU M11Gi unit. The RTCU M11Gi is fully "plug-compatible" with the RTCU M11G.

The RTCU M11Gi MAX has 512 KByte flash memory for datalogging/parameters and support for voice/DTMF user interaction. As a factory installed option the flash memory can be upgraded with additional 8 Mbyte for data intensive applications.

The unit is especially designed for mobile GPRS enabled applications.
The product is supplied in a metal enclosure well suited for mounting in vehicles with external connection for dual band GSM antenna (SMA female), GPS antenna (SMB Male), power, headset connector, 1-Wire/iButton interface and digital/analog I/O. 

The unit has 5 digital inputs (including ignition input), 4 relay outputs, 4 analog inputs and two RS232 serial ports (same pinout as a standard PC com port), one of them selectable as RS485 (option). The RTCU-M11G MAX is powered with 9..36VDC.

RTCU A9i MAX

The RTCU A9i MAX product is a compact and easy installable unit.
Encapsulated in a IP67 class plastic enclosure with 3 PG9 cable glands and a SMA female connector for easy connection to a GSM dual band antenna. The unit has 4 digital inputs, 4 relay outputs, 4 analog inputs and 4 analog outputs and is powered with either 230VAC or 18..26VDC.
The unit has full GPRS support, one extra serial port, advanced power-saving features, and on-board temperature sensor.
The 4 digital inputs can be configured as S0-compatible (IEC 62053-31) inputs
for connection to electricity/gas/water meters. The RTCU A9i also includes support for 1-Wire/iButton and an optional NiMh battery backup package.
The unit is fully GPRS Gateway compatible and it supports SMS, Voice/DTMF and Datacalls. Fully programmable from within the RTCU IDE development environment.

RTCU A5i MAX

The RTCU A5i MAX represents a low-cost version of the RTCU A9i MAX units. Compared to the RTCU A9i MAX this unit is a "small" memory unit, no GPRS capability, no analog outputs, no RS485 capability and no temperature sensor. The feature list is therefore almost identical to the, now obsoleted, RTCU A6 MAX unit.

RTCU D4 MAX

The RTCU D4 MAX product is delivered in a M36 DIN enclosure for mounting on
standard DIN rail (EN50022) with a SMA female connector for easy connection to a GSM dual band antenna. The unit has 12 digital inputs, 12 digital outputs, 4 analog inputs and 4 analog outputs and is powered with 8..34VDC. The unit comes standard with a backlit 2 x 16 characters LCD display. Using RS485 the I/O can be extended using the RTCU D4 CTRL product. The unit has 512 KByte memory for datalogging/parameters and support for voice/DTMF user interaction. RTCU M11Gi/M11i/A9i/A5i/D4 MICRO

The MICRO product variant is based on exactly the same hardware as the MAX versions described under each separate product, but delivered without the possible to program the unit from the RTCU IDE programming environment. Only the 
Infocall Micro Standard Application can be programmed into the unit, or any other MICRO enabled application the customer might have. The standalone
Infocall RTCU Programming Tool
 must be used for programming a MICRO unit.
The RTCU MICRO Standard application offers
extremely easy setup/use of the unit for simple applications not requiring the full flexibility of the RTCU IDE programming environment. The pre-programmed functionality allows generating SMS-messages and/or calling up with user recorded voice message on the leading and/or falling edge of an input. By sending a user defined SMS-message or calling the unit using voice/DTMF the outputs can be controlled. Temperature monitoring and GPS functionality for geofencing is also included in the standard application. The configuration is perfomed either by sending SMS-messages to the unit or by using the Infocall  RTCU Micro Configuration Tool available free of charge. Any RTCU MICRO unit can be very easy software upgraded to full MAX functionality when required.
Please note that a MICRO unit is delivered without GPRS support as standard, but can be later upgraded with GPRS (if available on the specific unit)

GPRS Upgrade & Deployment Server.

The GPRS Upgrade & Deployment Server (UDS) offers sophisticated features for Upgrade & Deployment of a number of RTCU units in operation. The UDS can be configured by the user to insure that the specified units are running the correct firmware and application. The UDS will automatically upgrade the units as requested and this task will even take place during FULL unit operation. Any interruption in an upgrade attempt will be automatically handled and resumed to avoid any waste of expensive bandwidth.

Upgrades firmware and application automatically according to user-configuration.

RTCU M11 / M11i  Series Internal Battery Backup Module

The internal Battery Backup module for the RTCU M11/M11i Series offers uninterruptable operation even when a power failure of the external power supply occurs. The Backup Battery module is easy installable and is available with 1400 mAh capacity. The firmware support for the Battery Backup module includes notification of power failure and also a low battery indication when the battery voltage drops below a hardware programmed threshold. An advanced charge circuit is integrated into the Battery Backup Module, this ensures a quick and correct charge of the batteries. By integrating the charger into the Battery Backup Module the sophisticated charge process is taken out of the hands of the user. When the charger is enabled the batteries will be charged once a day (scheduled by firmware) or whenever a power failure have occured. These automated mechanism will insure an always fully charged Battery Backup Module ready for use.
